Recent Grants

When our donors give unrestricted gifts, they allow the Foundation's trustees to determine how their gifts can best serve the community from year to year as needs and programs change. The earnings from these gifts are distributed through our Discretionary Grants Program. This program allowed us to award over $18,000 during our most recent grant cycle:

$1,500 for the 2008-2009 Warrick County Youth Concert Series

$2,000 for Bee Smart F.A.S.T. - Free after-school tutoring program at Studio Bee

$1,937 for the Nurturing Program for Abused Children

Tales & Scales, Inc.

$2,000 for Tales & Scales in Warrick County Schools

Tri-State Food Bank
$2,500 for the Backpack Food For Kids Program

Warrick County CASA
$500 for My CASA Cares for Me

Warrick County Red Cross
$3,284 to Disaster Education for Warrick County

$1,500 for the Teen Advisory Council  and Youth Make a Difference Grant Program
