Matching Gift Opportunity Available Through Community Foundation BOONVILLE, IN –

“Now is a great time to make a charitable gift to your Warrick County Community Foundation,” explained Steve Reffett, Treasurer and Endowment Development Chair of the Board of the Foundation. “For every gift that comes in to support the work of the Foundation it will be matched dollar for dollar, (up to $10,000) so donors will double the value of their gift and  support.” This opportunity is only available until the end of the fiscal year, which is June 30, 2011, and is the result of a past grant from Lilly Endowment.

The Warrick County Community Foundation is a 501 (C)3 nonprofit organization comprised of a group of like minded individuals who volunteer to help donors in ways that connect them with programs that change lives for the better. The mission is to enhance the quality of life in Warrick County by helping individuals and organizations build endowment to achieve philanthropic goals and fund charitable needs.

 “Our Foundation financially supports the community with a diverse group of endowed funds created by local donors,” said Susan Sublett, Director of the Community Foundation. “Agencies and other nonprofits run their programs and services to benefit residents of Warrick County with support from our annual grantmaking. The economy has created difficult times for many nonprofit organizations, and we are currently working to build our own capacity with a new strategic plan. We hope to be the leading, permanent resource for charitable giving in Warrick County to build a stronger community. This dollar for dollar match comes at a good time as we grow the Foundation and our ability to help others.”
