This spring marked the fifteenth year that JP Morgan, MD and his associate and friend, Gary Gurtcheff held the annual March Madness bracket pool and it was the most successful year yet! This year, the March Madness Endowment Fund, which is administered through the Warrick County Community Foundation, was granted $5,500 and the House of Bread and Peace received $2000. Making a grand total of $7,500 donated! In 2008, the March Madness Endowment Fund was established and has grown to nearly $25,000.
The 2011 March Madness pool had 420 entries which was a record number. Those that enter enjoy watching the teams in the NCAA tournament, some make additional gifts to build the fund and gift to charity.
